Can't beat the price and it was better quality than I expected, but some of the decals on the helmet were a little damaged and scratched in a small area. The ad says DOT approved, but is there suppose to be a DOT tag on the inside? No time to return before Christmas...if he doesn't like it then I will return it. I am sure they will be accommodating...as they were very helpful when I called them and making sure it got sent out in time. Good Customer Service. I hope he loves it!

I just got this in today, took 6 days to get here, not bad. I ordered an XL, which should have been a bit large on me, but it's a little tight, that's good though. fits snug, good looks, nice vents, not uncomfortable. BUT the visor is so dark (hard to see through) even in daylight, that I am ordering a new visor asap.

I searched around and found out that not only, did Amazon.com have what I was looking for but, they ALMOST had the; color, size and most important to me the PRICE. Man, I had a laugh when my husband came out wearing this because he reminded me of the jetfighters in Star wars. The guys at work put the name Goose on his helmet in homage to Top Gun. Its kinda funny but the price is not funny, it's amazing. It cost us under $30.00 and for motorcycle helmets thats great. So my man is a little retro it's ok since we were both born in the sixties I guess it's par for the course. I highly recommend this helmet.

This helmet is useable but cheaply made. The latches are plastic and don't work well from the factory. They usually require some modifications to make them work reasonably smoothly. The lining is removable but the snaps are pretty light on the cheek pads and they come loose pretty easily. The noise level is reasonable with the shield or face portion raised, but is pretty high with everything closed. This is, however, my first modular helmet so not sure how it compares with higher priced helmets.
